My name is Wendy. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Nurse/Endorsed Midwife.

I have over 25 years experience in Midwifery (even longer as a Nurse!) and have been an IBCLC for over 15 years.

Working under the full spectrum of Midwifery care, known as continuity of care, kindled my passion for breastfeeding many years ago. This model underscores the vital importance of equipping women and families with the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue and achieve their feeding goals. Empowerment lies at the core of success in breastfeeding journeys.

Bump2Breast Lactation was a seed that I planted at the recesses of my mind many years ago. It has now finally seen water and germinated into reality. I’m excited to be able to support you, your family and your baby to meet your feeding goals, whatever they may be! Your story of motherhood is unique, and I am here to empower you on this incredible journey.

This is a significant and vulnerable time in your life - it can be full of joy and frustrations, elation and discomfort, but I will walk beside you offering gold standard holistic and compassionate care with no judgement.

I use up to date, evidenced-based Lactation practices, providing you with the highest quality care.

I specialise in delivering expert breastfeeding support for mothers and families facing various challenges during the neonatal/newborn period. I have a special interest in addressing tongue and lip ties/oral restrictions, attachment issues such as painful/damaged nipples, engorgement, mastitis, and blocked ducts, as well as low supply and oversupply concerns.

I also offer guidance and assistance with bottle feeding support, returning to work, and the weaning process.

In my spare time I love spending time with my family & friends, and enjoy travel, food, bushwalking, camping, yoga, and beach walks.
